Alkmaar

A wonderful day of shopping and visiting the cheesemarket in Alkmaar, Netherlands with my sister Leontien. We went on a early Friday morning in order to witness the cheesemarket events on the main square of Alkmaar. Cheese was buying weighted and sold while explained and announced by a presenter in English to entertain the tourists.

After we hopped into the shopping streets a bought a bunch of cool cloths. On my sister's recommendation I bought these great jeans from a store called "Men at work". My sister was shopping for some flipflops. It is funny while analyzing how European fashion differs from North-American fashion.

We also decided to pay a visit to the Beer Museum. They even had old beer bottles from before the war. It was pretty cool to see the evolution of beer and bottles throughout the decades.
