Amsterdam Revisited

Fabulous Amsterdam, during my time in Holland I didn't have any concrete plans to go downtown Amsterdam since I know the city on the back of my hand. Everything changed once I got word of my friends that were in Croatia at the time and wanted to come by the city and explore. They jumped on a plane and we met up in central Amsterdam. We had a blast at the local coffee shops. I was surprised they hadn't even tried the deep fried snacks yet although they have been here a few times already. That is definitely a tip for everybody. "eat them Dutch deep fried snacks from the wall".

Also if you need a cheap hotel in downtown Amsterdam (Damrak) check out Hotel Galerij, I only paid 30 euros for a single private room.

I also met up with my buddy Sjors whom I went to college with in Amsterdam. It was good seeing him again, Sjors also did co-op at our company in Toronto, Canada and now runs his own business in Amsterdam. Our best times were definitely the Montreal trip and the Houseboat Adventure.
