My First Visit To Canada: 2 Weeks Of Adventures
My vacation to Canada convinced me to return after visiting the incredible Niagara Falls, downtown Toronto, and hiking at the Niagara Escarpment. Luckily, I was able to obtain a co-op placement for the month after.
Before I decided to fly to Canada for co-op with Motiongraphiks in September, I thought it would be a good idea to check it out prior.
During the month of July I flew for 2 weeks to Toronto to get an idea of the company and visit my friend whom I met in IJmuiden around the winter of 2001.
My friend wanted to leave a good impression of Canada and took me on a tour throughout the golden horseshoe of Ontario.
First we went on a hiking trip to the Niagara Escarpment which has some pretty cool sights.
One of our friends even managed to pull some stunts on the way there by climbing out of the car window at 120 km/h while holding himself with his feet underneath the dashboard.
The next day we went on a trip to Niagara Falls. It was quite amazing seeing the Falls for the first time especially while rolling in a BMW Z3 added a lot of fun to the adventure.
Yonge street in Toronto pretty much convinced me to come back for co-op and experience more of this beautiful country and nightlife.
The people are very nice, polite but very busy in Toronto, no wonder it is the business capital of Canada.
