Chinese Hot Pot at MattLAN 10
This is the tenth edition already of an event I started in 2004 where friends and I come together and discuss the latest technologies and developments in IT while playing fun multiplayer video games on our laptops.
The ultimate LAN party is back. Edition X has been the biggest so far, many of my friends showed up and we actually ended up having a real LAN jam instead of getting trashed.
The LAN game was Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3. I hope to add some more games to our LAN adventures in the future.
The Saturday was busy and I started to ran out of spots. The event included; Free Pizza, Free Beer, 100Mpbs internet, Jacuzzi and a Chinese Hot Pot.
The LAN event is great for discussing new ideas, new technologies and random techtalk so far no noise compaints yet!
On Sunday we had the chinese hot pot. We did some shopping at the T&T supermarket in Toronto. It is a Chinese supermarket with excellent products.
I also added pictures from the week before since I couldn't really create a seperate post for them. Other places seen in the pictures; Crown Princess Dim Sum, SPiN Toronto ping pong, Guu Izakaya restaurant, Temple bar on King, Tokyo Sushi, Joey's, Ballroom Bowling and Timothy's coffee on Portland.
