After having worked in Canada for 3 years my mother and sister finally decided to come pay me a visit. I rented a Chrysler Sebring Touring to pick them up from the airport and toured around the golden horseshoe of Ontario since I didn't own a car yet. The first day I took them to my favorite shwarma place in Missisauga called "Mont Fort" on Dundas & Hurontario. Later that day we played some bowling in the bowling alley, a game of billiards and a refreshing dive in the pool, all on the main floor of my condo building. Tridel buildings definitely come with some great facilities, even a guest suite for my mother and sister to stay at. I couldn't leave out the crazy parking garage, where Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Rolls Royce's and other expensive cars were parked.

My mother and sister were blown away by how huge everything was. The streets, stores, serving portions, cups & glasses and the local population. It must have been the exact same feeling when I first came down from Europe.

New Condos

This fall I moved to my first own apartment without a roommate.

This fall I moved to my first own apartment without a roommate. After I got back from Tokyo I noticed that I truly needed my own private space and decided to move to my own unit. I found this awesome apartment as you can tell from the pictures at Mississauga City Center for a ridiculous deal. The building was brand new and built by Tridel. One of the highest quality real estate developers in Canada. The building came complete with a pool, sauna, biljards room, lounge, gym and waterfalls.

The coolest thing about my unit was the center isle in the kitchen. It was so usable. It should be standard in every home in my opinion. Also the kitchen was gigantic, maybe even too big for the unit itself.
