Dutch people love raw fish and serving it during Christmas is a tradition celebrated by many Dutch families, the platters include raw herring, raw salmon and smoked mackerel.

Every time I go back I am surprised to how small everything is in Holland. Door knobs, doors, streets, cars, everything is a tad smaller which makes me feel like a giant for some reason.
