The first 30 hours straight MattLAN went from Saturday 5pm till Sunday 11pm. Playing some great games like; Assault Cube, StarCraft 1 and Team Fortress 2 on Steam.

Stocking up supplies to support our cravings. Beers ranging from Stella, Hacker-Pschorr, Bitburger, Palm, Dos Equis and Canadian. Also, many snacks & pizzas from Walmart, Sushi from SushiXtra and German Snitchels from The Musket (thanks Shawn).

We initiated a laptop cleaning to prevent our computers from overheading during intense gameplay (see video).

The Sunday was the more succesful day of the LAN, since it took almost the entire Saturday to get the equipment and all the computers setup.

It took us quite a while to finally get Steam setup for TF2. We had to receive a gift in order to activate our accounts or otherwise we had to buy a videogame, a pretty nasty marketing scheme by Steam.

Team Fortress 2 was definitely a highlight. The game got so intense at one point that proper coordination became a necessity.

It will be amazing if we get a bigger team playing next time.

It was such a succesful LAN that I will expand the MattLAN efforts during the next edition sometime in 2013 or 2014.
