Reunited With My Friends From Holland And Showing Them The Best Places In Toronto
My friends from Holland visited me in Toronto for the first time so it was imperative I left a good impression of Toronto before they left, Buskerfest being their favorite!
After 9 years of patience my friends from Holland have finally decided to pay me a visit in Toronto including my brother.
It was pure bliss seeing the look on their faces while cruising downtown Toronto. The same feeling I had when I first visited a North-American city, everything being gigantic compared to Europe.
A few highlights during the first week: Toronto Tour, Steamwistle brewery, Eaton Centre, Brookfield Place, Sushi Xtra and Fanexpo 2011 which they truly seemed to enjoy.
We also had a great time at Buskerfest, eating delicious burgers at Wendy's (first time experience) and paying a visit to the cultural Kensington Market.
We also took a day to explore Toronto Centre Island but unfortunately both our camera batteries died, what are the odds.
At Yonge Str we went to Marble Slap, the ice cream here is way too addicting so I am glad I don't live closeby.
My friends seemed facinated with the Chinatown district in Toronto due to its size and its offerings.
