1. Rere Khaosan
Excellent first place for a drink on Khaosan Road. It has a live music stage in the back of the venue, billiards, and great beats!
2. Rocco Club
Famous among locals, university students and travellers. Entrance is 200 bath ($6 USD) and includes a drink. Do check the rooftop for amazing views of Khaosan Road.
3. The Club
Famous nightclub on Khaosan Road and part of DJ MAG's Top 100 Clubs. It has unique decor, great DJ's, EDM music, and a young party crowd. Entrance is 250 baht ($7 USD) and includes a drink. Open until 4am!
4. Brick Bar
My favorite bar on Khaosan Road but is hidden behind the Buddy Lodge Complex. Visited by university students and tourists. Expect great live bands, and a fun crowd. Beers $3 USD, cocktails $6 USD.
5. The Back
By far my favorite club on Khaosan Road and also hidden in a back allery. It has huge LED light screens, strobe lights and EDM music. Mostly visited by young Thai university students. Entrance is FREE! Open until 5am!
6. Khaosan Pub Crawl
If you are new to Bangkok and looking to make some new friends join the Mad Monkey Khaosan Pub Crawl for an epic night out with locals, expats and other travellers for just $14 USD!
Khaosan Road is Bangkok’s wildest party street and the city’s backpacker epicenter. Stretching roughly 400 meters, it packs over 120 bars, clubs, and hostels into a single neon-lit stretch. Kick things off at Rere Khaosan or Rocco Club, then head upstairs to Bangkok View for rooftop drinks overlooking the chaos. Not far from Khaosan Road is the world's first Muay Thai stadium with Muay Thai fights multiple times per week. A ringside seat could cost around $100 USD, but it’s totally worth it!
8. Eagle Nest
The perfect date spot near Khaosan Road, with breathtaking views of the Wat Arun and the Chao Phraya River. Enjoy a Singha beer and chicken satay. Beers $12 USD. Open daily from 4pm until midnight!
9. Bangkok Night Crawl
For a naught pub crawl, go join the Bangkok Night Crawl which takes you to Soi Cowboy, Soi 11 and Nana Plaza. During this tour you will be told the full behind the scenes stories of live in Bangkok.
10. Sugar Club
Perhaps the most notorious club on Soi 11, mostly visited by tourists and an older local Thai crowd. Expect hiphop music and drinks starting at $9 USD!
11. Levels
The best nightclub on Soi 11 is Levels. Known for upscale bottle service, live stage dancers, pretty DJ's and local Thai models. Beers $8 USD, cocktails $12 USD! Open daily from 10pm until 3am.
12. Havana Social
Hidden behind an unmarked phone booth. A secret Latin-style speakeasy on Saturday nights. Expect a mid-30s expat crowd. Upstairs you'll find a 1940s Cuban cigar bar. Drinks are roughly $12 bucks each.
MIXX Discotheque in Bangkok
Between bars, grab late-night snacks from the street stalls serving spring rolls, grilled chicken skewers, or spicy Pad Kra Pao. For the brave, scorpions, tarantulas, and grilled alligator are part of the fun. If you need a break from the madness, the nearby Rajadamnern Stadium hosts world-class Muay Thai fights (click here for tickets) several nights a week, with ringside seats around US $100. The ultimate after hours party in central Bangkok, great after visiting Soi 11. It has two excellent dance floors, hiphop, pop and techno. Visit between 4am and 6am! Entrance $10 bucks with a drink ticket.
16. APT 101
Need a low-key kinda night? APT 101 is a retro dream from the 1950's in a cozy living room. The atmosphere is incredible with a large dance floor and great DJ's Entrance = $12 USD with one drink!
17. Above Eleven
My favorite date spot on Soi 11! Located on the 33rd floor with excellent views of Bangkok. Cocktails, $12 USD. Do not forget to checkout their unique male toilet!
18. Spaceplus
Ranked in DJ MAG world's Top 50 nightclubs. It looks like you are partying inside a giant futuristic spaceship. Beers? Just $8 USD. Expect a young Thai crowd and lots of tourists.
RCA, short for Royal City Avenue, is Bangkok’s designated nightlife zone and home to the biggest EDM clubs in Thailand. The massive Spaceplus Bangkok feels like a futuristic spaceship with lasers, dancers, and a capacity for 2,000 people. Nearby, Route 66 offers three different rooms—K-pop, hip-hop, and EDM—attracting a mix of locals, Koreans, and tourists. Entry is around 300 baht (US $9) and drinks about 200 baht (US $6). RCA is where Bangkok’s party scene truly hits overdrive, and the energy lasts well past 3 a.m.
19. Route66
My favorite EDM club on RCA. It has three large rooms with music ranging from Kpop, dance-pop, and EDM. Entrance = $9 USD with one drink ticket. Drinks just $6 bucks!
20. Chow Bar
The unofficial RCA after party, visited by mainly young Thai's and is a great place to mingle until sunrise. The entrance is FREE!
21. Propaganda Bar
Another excellent date spot for cocktails. This propaganda-inspired bar feels like walking through a history museum. Beers, just $3 bucks, cocktails $7 bucks!
22. Tichuca
The hottest rooftop party in Bangkok with incredible views of the city. Tichuca has a massive illuminated jungle tree as a centerpiece. There is even another upper sky bar. Cocktails are $13 USD. Make sure to arrive before 10pm!
23. Thaipioka
One of the best cocktails bars in Tonglor. Dark, cozy and feels like a late-night house party. Expect many pretty girls! Their whiskey sours are legendary starting at $14 USD. The entrance is FREE!
24. Seenspace
Another great place to mingle and known for having a community-style beer hall with multiple bars, restaurants and clubs. Beers, just $4 USD! An excellent spot to make new local friends!
Levels Nightclub in Bangkok
Soi 11, located in Sukhumvit, delivers a more refined but equally energetic nightlife experience. The street is packed with live-music pubs, rooftop lounges, and international clubs. Start at Hillary 11 for cheap beers and live bands before moving to Sugar Club for hip-hop or Levels, a polished megaclub with EDM and dancers. For something more intimate, Havana Social hides behind a secret phone booth, offering vintage Cuban vibes and craft rum cocktails. Beers average 180 baht (US $5) and cocktails 400 baht (US $12), making Soi 11 one of Bangkok’s best-balanced nightlife zones. Unless you are absolutely new to town and wanting to make some friends you can always join the Bangkok Pub Crawl in Soi 11. Alternately, you can join the Bangkok Night Crawl which takes you to the naughtier parts of town.
25. Bloq Club
Above Seenspace is Bloq Club, the after party once they close down Seenspace. Expect a young local Thai crowd and hiphop music.
26. Sing Sing Theater
One of the most upscale venues in Bangkok. A Shanghai-inspired nightclub straight out of the 1930s. Dark, mysterious, and often visited by young fashion models. Expect deep-house and techno all night long!
27. Baccarat
End your night at this fancy party in central Bangkok. A sleek, deep house club packed with upscale working professionals. Premium bottle service and excellent cocktails. Drinks start at $10 USD and open daily until 3am!
28. Muin
My favorite nightclub in all of Bangkok. Muin has two incredible rooms with EDM, house, hiphop and pop. This place is a senses overload! Drinks start at $7 USD and is open until 3am daily! There is even a large food bar in the club!
29. Dope & Dirty
A local favorite among the young Thai locals. Hiphop, Kpop, house and reggaeton music all night long. Known for colorful graffiti and glowing neon lights with an underground feel. This club is open 24 hours every single day!
30. Urban Music Bar
Across from Dope & Dirty, this local hiphop club is a great spot to meet the young Thai locals and make new friends! Drinks start at $6 USD but you do require a physical ID to enter.
For a scenic twist, head to Above Eleven, an elegant rooftop bar perched on the 33rd floor of the Fraser Suites. Its Japanese-Peruvian cocktails and skyline views make it ideal for dates or relaxed nights out. When the main clubs close, take a short tuk-tuk ride to Mixx Discotheque, an upscale after-hours venue open until sunrise, where DJs switch between hip-hop, techno, and pop until 6 a.m.
EAGLE Nest Rooftop in Bangkok
Thonglor caters to Bangkok’s upscale crowd, with stylish bars, rooftops, and late-night lounges. Start with cocktails at Propaganda Bar or Thaipioka, both famous for their creative mixology and sophisticated atmosphere. Then make your way to Tichuca Rooftop Bar, one of the hottest venues in the city, known for its illuminated jungle-tree centerpiece and panoramic skyline views. For deep-house and fashion crowds, Sing Sing Theater delivers an unforgettable Shanghai-inspired club experience.
Right next door to Thonglor, Ekkamai brings a more down-to-earth, local vibe. It’s a favorite among Thai students and young professionals who prefer underground clubs to tourist spots. MU:IN, hidden inside Donki Mall, is one of the city’s best-kept secrets—an enormous LED-lit nightclub with two rooms, food bars, and a fun mix of local and Korean crowds. Entrance costs 500 baht (US $14) with two drink tickets, and the party runs until sunrise. For something more underground, Dope & Dirty and Urban Music Bar keep the beats rolling 24/7 with hip-hop, reggaeton, and house.
Tichuca Rooftop in Bangkok
