Showtek For Their First Time Live In Canada At Guvernment Nightclub
The Dutch Hardstyle sensation Showtek has finally made it to the North-American shores, playing at the biggest nightclub in Canada where they shock the Canadians with their new sound.
The first serious attempt at Dutch Hardstyle in North-America. Showtek gave a fantastic show and best of all, the people loved it.
I remember seeing them at Sensation Black 2006 in Amsterdam and at Dance Valley 2010. They are mega-popular in the Netherlands.
Showtek are a Dutch hardstyle act, consisting of two brothers, Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen (AKA Walt Jenssen & Duro), who started producing Techno in 2001.
They changed to hardstyle in 2003, and released their first album, Today Is Tomorrow, under their self founded label Dutch Master Works in 2007.
Showtek were the first hardstyle act to release an album, and they followed up Today Is Tomorrow with Analogue Players In A Digital World in 2009.
I hope to see them return once again to Toronto for another fantastic show.
