Fresh Vegetables From My Dad's Vegetable Garden
Nothing beats home grown vegetables, my dad loves running his own garden project called Vadertje Takkenbos in Santpoort.
My dad took me on a little cruise through my hometown of IJmuiden in the municipality of Velsen.
We drove by the watertoren which used to be one of my favorite spots to hangout as a kid and play silly war games with my neighborhood friends.

We ended up at my dads cottage with a complete kitchen garden and glass house.
My dad loves growing his own flowers and vegetables which latter ones will result in delicious and healthy meals.

It is a lot of work to maintain but luckily my dad gets a lot of help. "Vadertje Takkenbos" is the name of the cottage.
I honestly wish I spend more time with my dad growing vegetables and learning more about the planting process.
