I've visited Paris multiple times to create this ultimate nightlife guide, with Paris being so massive, choosing your location is very important. I highly recommend St. Christopher's Inn at Gare du Nord train station, here you can sleep, drink, eat and party at Belushi bar all under one roof. The Pigalle district is another fantastic location to stay during your time in Paris.
Most unique bar in Pigalle: Wallstreet Bar
For transportation in Paris, rent yourself a LIME scooter, for just 0.20 euro cents per minute, it is the most fun way to get around town, plus you can enjoy all the beautiful architecture on your way.
Great places to visit by LIME scooter include the Sacre-Ceour, Luxembourg Parc, the Eiffel Tower and the Paris canal Saint-Martin leading into Bassin de la Villette, especially on a sunny summer afternoon. With a top speeds of 20km per hour, it allows you to see Paris at your own pace.
French appetizers at Rue de Pot de Fer in Paris
After visiting Paris' rooftops, checkout the speakeasy bars, my favorites being Lavomatic, LʼÉpicier and Le Comptoir Général, the most incredible atmospheric looking bars in Paris for having an entire pirate boat in the middle of the venue.
Than move on for dinner to the Latin Quarter. Rue Mouffetard offers some of the prettiest patios in Paris. My tip; French cuisine at Le Bar de Fer, the coziest street in town. Do try the snails in butter!
O'Sullivans Grands Boulevards is one of the best nightclubs in Paris
The most unique bar in Paris is Wallstreet bar, for its live stock ticker randomly rotating alcohol prices every 90 seconds. This place is very popular with the French locals, and a great spot to make new friends.
Now some extra tips for the Paris nightlife: arrive early, around 12am at the popular nightclubs, lines grow very long. Dress to impress, avoid the sneakers. Learn some French, bouncers will appreciate your effort.
Beware of pickpocketing in Paris, theft is rampant, so make sure to always secure you items and lock your pockets. I was unlucky enough to have my Sony camera stolen at 6am after leaving a nightclub.
In conclusion, even after having my camera stolen, I still had a blast in Paris. The best places to visit are definitely the laid-back bars and attend the Paris Bar Crawl at Pigalle. As a side note, English is still not widely spoken in Paris, so if you don't speak a word of French than be sure to join the Paris Bar Crawl which will make socializing in Paris a lot easier.
